Creating nourishing grass pastures for our sheep is basic for our product. Our 80 acres of rye, orchard, clover, wild mint and other herbs and grasses is the foundation of our cheese. The Willamette Valley is famous in American history for being one of the most fertile valleys in the world. The Oregon Trail pioneers destination in the 1840's was the Willamette Valley. Our place also borders the gentle slopes and cool breezes of the Cascade Mountains, making our mornings cool and afternoons pleasantly warm. Our winters are mild and sometimes wet and our summers are pleasant and dry, making it perfect for growing lush grasses and happy sheep and their lambs.
